“Postpartum, what the actual f*ck.”

….is precisely what I thought after the first week at home with my first baby.

Life changes IMMENSELY after welcoming a baby, be it your first or fifth, and if we’re being completely honest: there isn’t enough support for moms during the first year of motherhood.

Like many new parents, I had felt empowered and educated during my pregnancy, so much so, that I had no idea what postpartum actually looked like, and although lovely, how hard it can really be.

For many new moms, the adjustment and transition into motherhood is overwhelming. And many of us aren’t/weren’t prepared for how steep the learning curve would be. Throw in a little anxiety, people pleasing and perfectionism….you’ve got yourself a postpartum party.

And this is exactly where 4th Trimester Wellness was born.

My Mantra On Motherhood: you’re a mom, but you’re also so much more. It doesn’t matter how everyone else is doing it, you have to be true to you and mother in your own way to find the greatest joy in this new role.
